First ever Mentor / Mentee outing
A new program created by Genna - the juniors and seniors (and a couple of sophomores) have been teamed up
as mentors for the 7th graders

We had our first outing together on Sept.17

After lunch at Olive Garden we drove to Rose-Ruddman park for a Bible study
We immediately discovered that there are no ant poisons used in the park

We broke up into small groups and found places where we could sit and stay out of reach of the fire ants

way out in one field there weren't any ants

then finished with a couple of games of Put-Putt

...I noticed that the groups ended up splitting by ages
the younger ones (seventh graders)

the older ones (high schoolers)

and the ummm, graduates
