A STATEMENT OF FAITH by THE CONFIRMATION CLASS of 2007
We believe in God the Father who is all powerful and takes care of us with wisdom and love. No matter who we are or what we've done He loves us. We believe in Jesus Christ our Savior who was born in a manger. His father is God and his mother is Mary. He preached and helped people in need. He taught us how to be disciples. He was without sin but he died on a cross to save us from our sins. On the third day after the crucifixion he rose from the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit who lives in our hearts and helps us understand our salvation. He is our guide, comforter and counselor. We believe that we must go and tell people about Jesus. We must let Jesus shine his light through us to all the world.
